Does our exhaust note sound like the coupe?

I haven't seen 07 sedans on the road yet or been able to follow my car in another car. Anyways, I really like the sporty sound of the coupe's exhaust note, and was wondering how it compares. From the inside it sounds really good, like a deep growl.

I DO miss the coupe exhaust tone... oh well, LOVE my sedan more than the coupes!

Not even close to it. That's one thing I wish it did. I hope the new coupe will retain the exhaust sound.

IMHO, there is NO exhaust note. I am looking to solve this problem as soon as money is available but frankly I think you barely tell the car is even running most of the time.

Hehehe...

Funny thing is that some people think that's a good thing.

Well I don't like really loud cars - Trey's drives me nuts most times - but I damn sure think you should be able to tell there is an engine in the car. LOL

i'm glad it doesn't sound like the coupe exhaust. i think their exhausts sound artificial... not like a real sports car. true sports cars make ENGINE sounds, not merely coffee can exhaust sounds...

IMO of course.

The closest I have ever heard is my car with twin turbos, test pipes and the borla TD. It has the same kind of sound but is still a bit deeper. At times it sounds a lot like it and others not at all.

^^^ +1! Couldn't agree more! I think our exhaust note is just perfect. If you punch it, it's very audible, but never overbearing.

I like it because it is so original. Many people don't like the flat-4 sound of the STi's either but you sure know when it's them!

I've always loved the note of the dual exit Nissan/Infiniti v6's: the coupe, the z, and the FX.

It's very distinctive. If I wanted a v8 sound, I would have gotten a v8. That being said, I think a mustang gt with an exhaust is about the best sounding thing out there.
