Whoever supplied them with the cars from the corporate office should be shot. I remember the first review... who the hell sends a sport sedan to a reviewer in the middle of winter unless you're in California or Miami?

Then they send the new car with snow tires... of course the guy is gonna complain about it.

I want to pwn the comments by 335i owners at the bottom of that blog entry. Com'on, G35Drivers, spam the Autoblog comments and announce your support for your G's!

i like what this guy said:

17. I don't care about either car, but isn't it funny how all the BMW trolls crawl out from under their rocks whenever they feel threatened by the Infiniti G35.

It just goes to show you how fragile Bimmer owners ego's are. It's pretty sad actually.

The 3-Series is in its 5th generation, being threatened by the lowly 2nd generation G35. The 3-Series has been in constant development for over 32 years (1975), yet the G35 only 5 (2002).

Infiniti must be doing something right, by bringing out all of the Bimmer apologists, cheerleaders, fanboys, and loyalty thugs.

Nissan pulled the Infiniti name out of thin air 18 years ago, yet BMW has been around since 1913

Question:If the car came with snow tires instead of performance tires, couldn't the reviewer have went back to the Infiniti dealer and swapped out the tires????

Why bother? All that will do is just bring out badgewhores and turn that thread into a pointless pissing match.

Not to argue with the BMW posters, but to show our support for the G. There are many consumers who may be on the fence, and by letting them know first hand how great this piece of machine it (and how affordable), it may have steer them towards getting one. Just my 2 cents.

Understood. I'm all for supporting the G, but look at some of the posts made by the fanboys and badge ****** in that thread. Some of the posts show an obvious lack of maturity and logic. For example:
that $10k extra for the bimmer gets you a lot. Intangible stuff. Like the pool of females you get to drive is a higher class.
my 335i was worth every damn penny.
And this one:
# 2 .Every time Infiniti (or Lexus for that matter )comes up with a new model they claim ( together with people like you) they will take away the number one spot from BMW but at the end they never do.( it shows on the sales charts as well as every car review )My advice to you is to wait tilt that actually happens so you don't have to bite your tongue.
And this:
Thats funny, so your saying bmw owners by there cars as a ***** extension lmfa0. I got an 07 G35S 6mt, and cross shopped it with a 335i. Good thing i dont need a car to get females huh ;x
14. that $10k extra for the bimmer gets you a lot. Intangible stuff. Like the pool of females you get to drive is a higher class.

Anyone that has the time to read all those ramblings will most likely get nothing useful out of it. If I were looking for more info/reviews on the G, I wouldn't put too much weight in those ramblings. If you want to get involved in that thread, more power to you, but I still say let the fanboys argue all they want.

Thread moderation aside, let's just say arguing with a fanboi is like wrestling with a pig - you'll both get dirty and the pig will enjoy it...

Many BMW owners (not all) are in their own world and there is nothing we can do to change it. It's like stupid @sshole drivers, they will always be there so just stay away.

It's kinda sad that a person makes a purchase for the sake of prestige and perception rather than logic. BMWs are wonderful cars; only a fool will waste time disputing that. But getting one just to get a$$ or impress people says a lot about the person that owns it.......
