Some updated reviews and impressions from Edmunds...

Sounds like the testers have touched on many of the points that have been discussed or brought up here on the forum~

their main complaint is the clutch on the 6MT, which is pretty unfair considering the small demographic of the Gs on the road that are 6MT.

So is the sedan clutch a lot different than a 03 350z? I had the Z and didn't have a problem. I didn't get a chance to test drive a 6sp G35 though.

I guess if I had to sit in traffic for an hour a day - I would dislike a manual too though.

Good link.

Hmmm, the May 16th entry has a Nav pic with the temperature displayed in upper right corner. I remember someone asking about that, but couldn't figure out how to set it or if even it was an option.

I also wish the temperature was displayed somewhere all the time, having to page thru the display is a bit of a bother.

Is this possible?

That's the exact same picture that Infiniti released early last year. I'd say it's pre-release software that had the temperature there. Too bad it changed.

May be true, but poster of the blog comments that the reason the clocks are different is that he accidently reset the digital version trying to eliminate it. Do you think their tester has pre-release software?

Yup .... it is most likely one of those beta-tester cars with beta software ....
I have my outside temp setup to show in the middle orange "display" - works for now ..... but I'd much rather have it show where it does in the tester car.

Maybe if we all call Infiniti and suggest this, they can push a SW update ??

I don't know if this clutch "creaking" is normal - think not.

Again my car is still new - hopefully its not something that comes around 5k miles

I think this baby took a lot of beating being a tester car and this creak is somehow related to that !!

PS: On an unrelated note, my back seat creaks a lot when I do some exciting stuff in the car

Interesting, I dont know about a beta version of the software - but my wife's FX has the temperature there at all times but does not have the clock. She actually likes the X better as do I after a while. When I'm commuting or road tripping, I really dont need to constantly know the temperature. Hitting it once is good in the morning, but on my 30 minute commute I just dont find the need to see a constant temperature display. YMMV.

One word: Lube.

Oh wait, for the leather, you need conditioner.

I think there's something wrong with their tester. The clutch pedal is too light if anything.

what a bunch of wimps. The clutch for me isn't all that bad. Not the best but it certainly isn't heavy (nor is the ride stiff, especially coming from Scott Oldham, shame on you, a past tuner car editor).

Guess the don't have a problem with the synchros.
