Booster Seat

Anyone know of a good booster seat that fits well in the G? The one I have now does not fit the seat well, and the seatbelt latch is difficult to reach as it is caught a bit behind the seat. I have tried a coule of others and they all seem too wide for the rear seat in the G.

I have this brand. It is sold at canadiantire.ca

Clek Backless Booster Seat by Magna
http://www.canadiantire.ca/browse/pr...romSearch=true

It works really well. It is not too cheap but the latch system is easy and it fits just right so it doesnt move around like the others I've tried. It's compact so when you need the regular seat, it stores easily.

hth.

My daughter has just turned 4 and her Brittax was starting to look aged.
When I got the G, I ordered a Recaro Young Sport which fits absolutely perfectly. I opted for the Sport over the Style model, as she's still small enough that I wanted her to have the 5 point harness a little longer before going to just the seat belt.
Plus, the Sport is held in place with the LATCH system.

I as worried when I was waiting for it to be shipped to me. I tried the Brittax Marathon from my MDX and it fit the G like crap.

The Recaro is a perfect fit, it looks way cool, and she says it's very comfortable.

I also suggest a seat protector to keep your leather looking nice.
I use this.
We've used this in our MDX for the past year and the leather in the Acura still looks brand spanking new, and has no car seat indents.
Well worth the $20-!

We have this one: http://www.gracobaby.com/catalog/pro...T&CategoryID=1

It works great for the front seat (I love the intelligent air bags!) but it is too large for the back. It works but it can be a pain. How old is your child? Or I guess I should say how large?

Ended up getting the Evenflo Big Kid Confidence seat. Fits well in the G and has nice features that make it easy to use.

Glad you found one.

The reason I was asking about age is to see if the child was old enough to do the seatbelt himself. My son has no issue with his booster seat himself but *I* have a problem if I'm trying to do it. His hands are small enough that he can just pop the seatbelt right in. LOL Given that - the larger seat is no issue.

How bad was the Marathon's fit in the G? I just bought one during an Emergency situation while visiting my sister in Chicago.
I’m still deciding whether to sell it (it was used just for three days) or to keep it and using it when I buy my G.

BTW anyone using a Britax Boulevard in the G? how's the fit? My wife has one in her RDX.

I have the Marathon in the center rear seat, front facing, with shelf liners on bottom and back, using the seatbelts (not LATCH). It fits fine.
