service update:phonetags & Door seals

I wanted to give an update. I had my car in for the first service and while there they replaced the drivers door weatherstripping. They said be careful not to drag my arm on the moulding or it could come out again. They assurred me that they will replace it when necessary.

I told them that the phone tags have been erased now 5 times. They noted it in my service record for warranty purposes but they have no fix yet. I will not bother to put them in again!

I also have not recieved a roadside assistance card yet.

I never got a roadside assistance card, either. It's been 3 months...

I doubt there will be a fix for the voicetags until an updated release of software is available. Like you, I no longer use voice tags either as mine were deleted 3 times.

This may be a dumb question but I'm going to ask it anyway. For those of you who have lost their voice tags: did you lose the connection with your phone and need to re do the pairing procedure? This was the cause for the only time I have lost mine, when it pairs with the phone for a second time it seems to overwrite all preexisting settings.

Actually, that's a great question Christian. All three times that I have lost my voicetags, I didn't lose connection with the phone itself. I've only had to pair my phone once, and that was the first day I picked up my G.

ditto.

I dont think I have ever recived a roadside assistance card either. I have also not recieved the title to my car?!?! Thats an issue with VA though, I gave them the cert. of Origin and havent gotten the title... and no, there is no loan on it... how long do these things typically take? Its been since the end of Feb.

PS- sorry for the off topic question, it just made me think about it...

Title times would depend on your state .... In most cases that I've known about, it takes around 4-6 weeks.
So yours is definitely overdue !

Call your Vehicle titles division (or dmv) and inquire.

no everything.....

The only thig that is gone is the voice tags. After tags are gone, to make a call you must use the "phone" button either on the sterring wheel or console. You the select your phonebook and scroll to the desired contact.
