Bummer

Just picked up my 07 G35x last night.
On the way to work this morning I hit something and shredded the right rear tire.
Didn't get the Tire warranty either...

Quoted $225 for a Goodyear RSA 245/45R18.
aaaaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!!

You have 18s on your X??? Should be 17s I think. Check out Tire Rack, $157 for replacement 225/55VR17.

Your right.
I was so pissed I went in to work and opened up the G35 manual in pdf form on my computer. Wrong....

Tire
Type Size Pressure PSI (kPa) [Cold]
Conventional P225/55R17 33 (230)
Front: 225/50R18
Rear: 245/45R18
Spare (T-type) T145/80D17 60 (420)

Need it fixed now, can't wait.
Will check out BJ's when they open.
Should be easier on the wallet.

Thanks

Not the same tire on the car that is on Tirerack orginal equipment

http://www.tirerack.com/tires/Compar...=Y&RunFlat=All

The Tire on my car is a P225/55R17.

Guy at a Goodyear store couldn't find it on the computer and is calling Goodyear.

WTF??

The last post didn't work. Tirerack uses cookies to store session info for some of their URLs and the one you used does that.

Check out:

That's the tire you probably want as a replacement.

That is the tire, thanks.
According to the Goodyear dealer, this is a brand new tire not even on his computer. He called Goodyear and they couldn't get one to him till the end of next week.
Luckily, I managed to procure one from the Infiniti dealer.
