In an email I spoke with the guy who sells these decals. He said that brake calipers don't get hot. He actually said they are "stone cold after driving". He went on to say "touch one after a drive and you will see they are not hot". Mine are hot! I'd bet about 140 to 150 degrees after several highway miles.

I hope he is not saying these decal will not melt on stone cold calipers , 'cause mine are not stone cold.

I expect mine to be in the mail box when I get home. We'll see soon enough.

brake calipers don't get hot?

whatever.... that's just silly.

brakes are energy converters. that's how they WORK.

let's all put water in our brake lines!

i hate it when "manufacturers" make **** up....

Which paint works? I heard the stuff they sell at AutoZone and PepBoys works just great. Anyone have feedback on what to use?

Any thoughts on red calipers on GE? It might be a little too gawdy, ya think?

Get a paint specifically for calipers. I just did mine with G2 Brake Caliper Paint. It went on super easier, and came out excellent, IMO. Here are a couple of pictures.

Keep us updated with pics once installed. What color are you painting the calipers? I think I'm going to do a silverly metallic color, with white INFINITI lettering.

Okay, so I am seriously thinking about painting my calipers red. I am thinking they might look pretty good with Garnet Ember. Do you guys agree that it would look good, or do you think it would look cheesy? Let me have it guys.
