brake caliper painting opinion

I want to paint caliper with red and my car is black. I think it works best for red on red and not quite sure if it works for red on black.
Any of us here paint caliper red for black car? how does it look? Anybody paints it black on black car?
I don't want to go with other colors since red stands out the most.
Advise please!

When I got my new wheels the guys at Peter's Tires asked me if I wanted them painted, and I told them just do them black. I don't really want the stock calipers to stand out all that much on my black car...

Now when I end up getting a BBK I'd probably do red, but for now I think I'll just let them blend in.

I vote for black. I've never been a big fan of red calipers - I think they detract from the car.

Mine is Liquid Platinum and I just ordered black Infiniti decals and purchased Silver caliper paint. I think it will clean them up a bit but not look too ridiculous. Red Brembo’s or other big brakes might look good in red, but only if you have a sporty rig, in my humble opinion.

I am thinking of painting the calipers on my LP black. Should dress them up some without looking too gaudy.

Paint'in Calipers............?

Unless you spend major $ on aftermarket brakes you don't want to bring
attention to them. Black is the way to go.......keep it stealth/clean!

Yes! PICS!!! The concept G37 (maybe even the production) has some nice looking calipers!

decals? are they designed for calipers?

calipers get HOT.

for the same reason, make sure you use high temp engine paint.
