M35
I've had a loaded G35x for the last three months. I got an M35 rental through Hertz on a business trip last week. It was a base model (with the neverlost Nav). I was thrilled to pick it up as a rental. After driving it for a few days, it pales in comparison to the G. It drives like a Maxima or an Avalon. Accel was poor, handling was designed for the "old man" crowd. I think the M is a sweet looking ride, but I was not impressed with how it drives. I imagine the '45 sport model with the V8 is a different story. I can't see throwing out an extra 8-10k for a loaded M35. Unless the extra width and rear leg room is a huge factor, it doesn't make any sense. The G is a far superior machine. I don't think an honest salesman (if they exist) could push an M35 over a G.

- G sedan sales are going great, and are siphoning off some M sales
- Coupe sales have tanked because of all the publicity over the G37
- FX sales are trending up and look pretty positive
- Infiniti needs to work on the full-size SUV...EDIT>> Note that this is a volume comment, not a feature / quality comment

When the new EX35 and Q replacement are released, Infiniti will be a brand the industry should fear.
