Thumbs up A Must Have For the 2007

Just to let other 2007 owners know, as a reluctant modder, I now view GroundingGear as a "must have" for the 2007 G35.

I just posted an update to my review since I got a chance to compare my car this past week with a couple of stock '07s.

Happy Motoring All!

i was always skeptical about ground wires doing anything at all for the car....how much does this kit cost? If its cheap enough ill give it a shot considering your review.

How much does it cost? Did you install it or the dealer?

That does not give us enough information. In order for you to argue this matter you should simply dyno your car and a fully stock 07 G35. Both cars should be the same.

The car you rented out... Could have been using a 87 octane gas, or improperly broken into. I mean the engine compression could be all messed up.

Don't compare your car with rental.. ...

Anything that makes a "spectacular change" or improves the car so much that they claim you notice it as soon as you're pulling out through the parking lot (at 5mph) is invariably bogus.

Somehow these are always MAJOR improvements that somehow can't be demonstrated on dynos or any other quantifiable measurement devices. The car just FEELS so much smoother or responsive.

And, of course, all the engineers at Nissan are too stupid to have figured out how to properly ground the car. It must be a fluke that they even run at all without this extra strap.

You doubt the Butt Dyno(tm) results???

Hehehe.

There's no way a grounding kit will give you that much of a noticeable result, I agree. And not in this car... All you gotta do it look under the hood to notice how well put together this is compared to older cars.

Placebo has been known to make 30% of blinded testers become true believers. However, when one is motivated enough to purchase the product and believes in the product in theory, that number is sure to be higher.

Proof of this is that I have read quite a few postings in different forums from people stating that The Tornado intake mod made a huge difference in their cars responsiveness, power and fuel economy, even though it has been largely debunked.

The mind is a powerful thing... After I changed the oil in my car... It felt smoother and quicker on my next drive..
I realized it was in my head.. and that nothing has really changed... at least nothing that I could measure... nonetheless.. it did feel different...

As they say... “Nothing exists except atoms and empty space; everything else is opinion”
