Unhappy Guidance voice hard to hear?

I'm usually tooling along with music box going. When guidance voice is turned on for the nav system, it seems to only cut in on one speaker and doesn't turn off the music.

On my car, this makes voice guidance basically useless. Does everybody else have this problem? Anyone know of a workaround?

Thanks,

Guideance voice will fade the front and leave the rear alone, so you can hear the directions clearly.

You can turn the voice volume up/down while it's playing to a level that you're happy with, or you can turn the voice off altogether (you only get the beeps at the markers when that's the case).

You can adjust the guidance voice volume -- it is in the Settings menu.
(or use what the above post mentions - volume **** when the guidance is speaking - or hit the voice button, then use the volume control)

I have the voice turned off - but notice that it'll still give me a direction if I hit that small round 'voice' button. Nice feature!

I've seen this in Texas a lot - they have one way loops to get on to the side streets off the major roadway. It's nuts - especially as a visitor....
