Unhappy Leaking Sunroof

I was hoping my fellow G members that have sunroofs could help me out with an issue I am having. After either parked or driving through a heavy rainstorm (sunroof completely closed.) I have noticed on occasions some drops on the inside of the car. Reaching at the back of the sunroof opening inside the car with the shade opened and sunroof closed there is a metal drip tray. I have noticed the drip tray to be wet on may occasions after rainstorm and sometimes I guess while driving turning etc. some drops of water have fallen on me or the seats. Nothing major but still a bit alarming. Can you check your G's during/after a rainstorm (or heaven forbide a touchless car wash) to see if your drip tray also gets wet. I have owned many cars almost all with factory sunroofs and have never had a problem with leaking? Could be a faulty seal around the sunroof, but just wondering if anyone else has experienced this problem also. Please let me know your thoughts.

I have the same problem. Wait till you go thru a carwash. You'll get a small shower. The dealer told me to close my shade

I say you have a faulty seal, the dealer should replace it and fix the leak. factory sunroof are not some cheap 80s hack job, they should not leak at all.

I posted about this a couple of days ago. Next service I'm going to bug them about it. The carwash thing I can sorta understand, although my Lexus never did that, but heavy rains is unacceptable. We're in severe thunderstorm season in MN now.

It shouldn't leak at all... my brother's 94 Camry has a sunroof and it's still sealed tight, so no reason why an 07 G shouldn't be as well....The car wash excuse is BS. My 04 G, my wife's 99 RX300, and the said 94 Camry have all been through high water pressure car washes, and they've NEVER leaked or dripped, even with the shade open.
