finally after all the waiting last saturday i just got my car.

but here i have some questions

drive by a construction zone, and freaking got tar all over my car, used bug remover to clean the body and re-wax the car, but still have it on my window, can i use bug remover to clean my window?

and for passanger side airbag light, when there is no one sitting there, is it normal the light dont come on?

what HID bulb does it use? D1S? has anyone replace it with 6k HID?

The passenger side airbag light should always be off when noone is in there. It is designed to come on when it senses a child in the front seat.

Go to section 1-43 in your owners manual for more detailed information.

 

the light comes on when no one sits there which means the airbag arent activate rite. but when no one sits there it doesnt stay on so does that means it's still activate?

 

If your airbag light comes on when noone one is in the passenger seat then there is something wrong.
It WILL come on if you have stuff on the passenger seat though.

This is how I understand it from the manual:

When an adult sits in the passenger seat, the light will be OFF but the airbag will be ON.(seat sensors know to activate the airbag by the weight on the seat)

When there is no person/object on the seat, the light will be OFF but the airbag will also be OFF.

When there is a child/small adult on the seat, the light will be ON and the airbag will be OFF.

The airbag is only turned on when the seat sensors feel like there is an older/heavier person there. Otherwise, its off.

 

My friend from LA visited me this past weekend. She's a short, skinny, petite gal, and the whole time during our road trips, the passenger airbag off light was on. Hahahaha
