I just plug an RCA cable into the audio inputs with a mini jack at the other end into the IPod. Is there something wrong with this? The music sounds great.

Also I bought a silicon skin for the Nano with a lanyard. I wear the IPod around my neck.
You need this when you listen to your mp3 player AND charge it through the cig lighter at the same time. You will hear hissing if you don't use the ground loop isolator.

Excellent use of smilies

Anyway, I agree - I only want to have to synch one piece of HW, which is my 80GB iPod. The HD and CF card is undoubtedly cool, but I like aggregating technology

So I received the Belkin Auto Kit last night. Plugged my av cable into the built in amplifier, and wrapped up the cords nice. This thing works well. Good sound, easy to use. Got it from Amazon/J&R Music for $24.99 plus $5.07 shipping.

I will need to get the ground loop isolator from radio shack though. I do hear the noise.

Thanks for all of your help!

Jesse
