my take on door weatherstripping

I have had my car in several times to have the weather stripping replaced. Once, they had to replace the piece because it was crimped and could not be reinserted. Other time they simply re inserted it. Today they said I must be more careful because they come out easily. I am sick of them telling me that with this "luxury" car, you must tell your passengers to be careful and not touch the weatherstripping when they close the door. That simply is not the answer to a poorly engineered part! I wil make sure the rubber is damaged beyond repair each time I have this problem so they have to use a new piece each time it come loose. Infinity has a problem hear and I want them to come up with a permanant fix. What happens after the warranty is over?? WE will all be screwed!

how many other people are affected by this? I have no issues with my weather stripping. If i were you I'd be doing the same thing...damage it beyond repair to make them replace it.

various places

First it was the top of the drivers door, then the passenger rear and last drivers rear side. It is always the top edge. I am sure that it is being brushed by the hand when closing but it happens way to easy.
