I too noticed that it was hard to close the trunk when I first got the car. I ended up adjusting the stops on the bottom edge of the trunk lid, this made a big difference. You have to be careful that you don't go too far as you may end up with rattles. As for the scratches, I don't know what is causing those, I haven't seen them on my car.
