Advice - Wheel upgrade issue

Advice - Wheel upgrade issue

I have finally gotten around to installing my 19" SSR GT-10s on my new G when I ran into a problem.
Back wheels fit great however in trying to put on the left front wheel I found an extra bolt between the threaded bolts. This extra bolt is stopping me from mounting the wheel as the wheel will not fit over this. This was not an issue with my old G as these wheels were on that car before I bought the new one.
Obviously, tons of folks are upgrading to 19" and 20" wheel so hopefully someone can shed some light on how I can proceed.

I think everyone with aftermarket wheels had to cut off the extra front bolt.

remove the bolt - dont cut it out

Extra bolt?

Does anybody have a picture of said bolt?

It's just used to keep the back wheels from going onto the front. The bolt can be removed.

the bolt is there to prevent a careless mechanic from installing stock rear wheels in the front, as they are difference widths. just remove the bolt and save it, don't cut it off or throw it away.

Remove with a 10mm wrench. Easy fix. I had to take them off to install my I-forged rims too.

Thanks for the picture Terry. I don't know how I could have forgotten about it. I just installed my Eibach prokit springs less than a week ago.

Does anyone know if the G35x has this? I would assume no since the wheels are all the same size but you never know.

FYI-I needed to use the 12mm.
