Nope, not at all. I like the G37, but my G has virtually all the interior features of the G37 and it has the four doors that I need. The extra .2 litres of displacement mean nothing to me. Besides, you'd be taking quite a hit financially.

I am actually thinking about buying a sedan instead of the G37. The real life price diff might be $5,000 between the $3,000 plus sticker price differential with the G37 at sticker and the G35 at street discounted price. I could sure use the bigger trunk and the back seat will prove more usefull. I have always been a coupe guy, and not a sedan guy. But, the price diff can not be beat as the performance is virtually the same.

If the G37 clutch sucks, then I will seriously look at the sedan with 5AT.

Don't expect the G37 to perform the same as the Sedan. Real world I expect it on par with the 350Z, which is running 13.3-13.4

I thought someone already published tests, and it's exactly the same as the sedan due to extra weight??

Mag tests yeah, but its also the same as Car and Driver got for the 07Z, they got a 13.8 I believe. 13.8's are easily attainable for the 07Z, my buddy was running 13.5's all day long on friday, and hit a 13.49 for his best. VeeTec on my350z got a 13.3

HP/Weight the 350Z & G37 are about even.

No. Sedan costs less, is faster (or as fast), and in my opinion looks more elegant. There's something about the rear of the G37 that's "off" for me. I preferred and regretted not buying an 04 Coupe over my 04 Sedan, but the minute I started seeing reviews of the G37 and pictures, I pulled the trigger on the sedan and haven't regretted it, and won't.

You really don't give up anything performance or styling wise in the sedan.

This is my opinion guys, it's completely subjective.

No, not at all. This may change if they release a AWD coupe in a couple of years or my company decides to move to SoCal and I decide to go with them.

No reason to have g37. Performance is the same but you get way more room in the sedan. No brainer. And personally I think the sedan is way sexier!

Ironically, I find the front fascia of the 2007 G35 Sedan sport to look much more aggresive and sporty than the 2008 G37 Sport.

Probably because the G35 sedan has the "mean" looking bumper, while the G37 has that "smily" looking bumper (for the sports)

.

No thanks. My sedan weighs less, has more room, cheaper ins. and same 0-60 times. All that and cheaper out the door.
I love looks of G37 but not enough to trade in my G sport.Couple years and a turbo option maybe.....

The last generation coup looks better than the sedan, but the 07 and 08 the sedan looks much better than the coup. I think 07 G sedan looks better than any other sedan on the market, better than Benz, BMW, Lexus, Audi, Acura...

Can you guys name a better looking sedan as of today, for around the same price? That is the simply the reason why I am not trading it in, plus no coup for me for awhile. I need space for my two children.
