I've found that it's worse with heavier acceleration.... but with WOT, tap into 3rd at exactly 6,000 RPMs and it's smoooooooth.

It's probably a combination of the spacing of the gears and us telling the tranny to shift when it really shouldn't (i.e. too soon or too late for the throttle %).

FWIW, I don't know if it's "right" but it's definitely normal.

the previous gen coupe and the new could does this too. You are short shifting it. Let out the throttle some and it will shift smoother.
