Acceleration issue with 07 G35X

Just to emphasize here: I am experiencing NO wheel slippage.
One thing to remember is that at 5,280 feet above sea level our cars are producing 20% less engine horsepower because of the thin air so at roughly 245 hp there isn't any slippage going from first into second gear.
Also note that the problem does not occur when I switch off VDC, and again I sense NO tire slippage.
Maybe the altitude does play a part in the shifting computation process....

well, i just got that problem today.. i just hit 1200 miles and wanted to floor it once.. so i did.. and the SLP light started to blink on a straight away runway(but i had my vdc thing on)... so, i thought this was unusual since the ground was not wet or anything.. but yea.. oh btw, my car is a g35s 6MT. do you guys experience the same problem?

I would suggest to everyone that they log this as a service request with their Infiniti dealers.
Infiniti will not address this issue unless there is enough justification, and it's apparent there is. I logged mine as an official service request, and that's when I was told by the service manager there "should be" a TSB in a few months...
Let's ensure that "should be" turns into a "will be"

i dont think the wheels have to be slipping for the VDC to kick in, i think it kicks in if it also anticipates the wheels are about to spin, and at high rpms and changing gears, it might be anticipating that the wheels migh skip, which slows down the throttle some, thats just what i think though

Hmm, interesting.
I also had my I-Key repaired, I'm guessing they take apart your existing ones because when I picked them up, they all have little gaps between the two halves.
