Sunroof - Headliner Noise?

Anyone experience the same issue?? When my sunroof is open, I get a "creaking" in my headliner toward the read. It's kind of like a "popping and creaking" noise. If I put my hand on the headliner, it disappears. Of course, it doesn't happen when the sunroof is closed.

i haven't had that problem, but the sunroof is quite noisy when its closing. I've had many cars with sunroofs and none of them were that noisy

Sun roof "creaks"

I have noticed quite a bit of noise from the sunroof. My 03.5 did that as well but only after I smacked it up a few times (deer, fire hydrant, etc) My 07 sport has not even hit a pothole hard yet so I can't imagine it is anything I did. I have a long driveway that is somewhat uneven. When I am going down the driveway, I hear what sounds like the car flexing around the sun roof. If I tilt or open the sunroof, the sound goes away completely. Very annoying and really unexpected at this level of car. Anyone have a simple cure?

^^ Sounds like a stupid fix for a car that shouldn't have any creaking noises to begin with. Mine does this too, over rough roads, smooth roads, just all the time. Bugs me mad.

What drives me crasy is the dash around the nav screen and hvac controls, its always creaking. Sometimes I'll be sitting at a light and it makes this loud creak like someone pushed on it. wtf. What kind of materials are they using nowadays? They suck.

I kept hearing about the dash noises and never knew what it was until today. I was going down a hill and something was popping creaking intermitently around the dash while my car was going down. WTF was that, freaked me out.

And I'm already inquiring on the GT ladder bars because everytime I get out of my driveway the body flexes and creaks pretty bad. It should help out a little , here's what I'm talkin about.

I'm planning on getting one def. I've had them on my WRX and it really helped stiffen the chassis. A good friend of mine is a dealer for GT-Spec, I could probably get a good deal if you want

I have the same problem as well when backing out the driveway and I am definately getting a GT Ladder bar. The creaking noise is so annoying and shouldn't be with theses cars.
