Te full picture, after importing, looks like this:
After exchange, the G35 out the door was $32000.00 CDN (no state taxes payable). After migrating across the border and paying the RIV fee, excise tax, import duty (6.1%), gst, pst, emmissions, and taking care of the daytime running light issue, another $7500.00 is tacked on. Total spent for this G35 is $39500.00 CDN.
In comparison, the Canadian details are as folllows:

With Taxes .........$55199.00
Bear in mind that this figure is full list price, and does not price in the cost for administration as it is offset by the cost of driving down and back to Ontario (with new G). OK, this is a bit generic, but Infiniti is currently offering 2.9 & 3.9 percent financing (I think that's nationwide, not just my dealer). Can anyone say whether that financing rate is good for just the month of November or will they carry that offer through the month of December?
Since I will finance a portion of the car, this rate will influence me into purchasing sooner, rather than later.

ok so here it goes... after several months of delayed gratification and daily trolling on this forum I have unofficially pulled the trigger...at least via verbal agreement over the phone:
2008 Journey sedan
premium package
splash guards
cargo net
$33310.00, this includes destination charge (obviously, not including taxes/tag)
the dealer threw in a free tint job (supposedly a $299 value)
so basically $846 over invoice (or $574 if I wanted to make myself feel better and subtract the inflated tint charge)
I realize not the best deal seen on here but I am really tired of haggling... and I wanted the 2.9 % financing offered this month...

Cap cost = 34,500
Invoice = 34,216
MF = 0.00245
Residual = 61%
Mileage Allowance = 10K/year*
Total Out of Pocket = 2,000
Months = 36
Monthly Payment = 475
I was wondering...is this a good deal? Is anyone else getting anything close (or better)?
*BTW - I have a traveling job, which means I don't drive much, hence the 10K miles/year allowance.
