Gas Mileage Bar Chart - Info Screen

Hi, on my G (with nav), drilling down into the info menu, there is a gas mileage vertical bar chart, it looks like one could chart historical mileage, there is an inactive "reset interval" button, etc., but the graph doesn't seem to work. Can anyone tell me what this feature does and perhaps how to use it? Thanks!

every time you reset the mileage, it adds the most recent average as a new bar.

i guess you could reset the mileage after each tank of gas to see how your averages compare.

Yours isn't working either?

In 10k miles, I noticed mine is not either. The loaners was fine, but mine has NEVER shown data.

On non-Nav, it's not inactive - press one of the arrow buttons to get down to it.

Dunno with you Nav guys...

When you reset it, it starts a new bar with new reading. I always reset it after filling up.

If you never reset it it won't show anything. You have to reset it a screen before that and it will register the date in. I use it every time when I pump gas. But you can use it anytime. Road trip etc.

Yes, if you want to use the MPG bar graphs on the center console screen you need to scroll down to "reset" and push "enter." There is also an MPG indicator on the small screen behind the steering wheel, which can also be reset by scrolling to MPG and pushing the single white dot tab on the lower portion of the upper right tabs.

Took me a while to get the hang of all this.

Me too...I also reset the A Trip odometer to see how many miles the tank lasted and the trip computer...
