Windshield fog

I have noticed that my windshield tends to fog up often. When i put the defroster on it clears up for a while and then fogs right back up. Does anyone else have this problem or know the possible cause of this. Thanks!

Use colder air than the outside or some Rain X anti-fog wipes

Do you frequently use recirculate?

In addition to trying the useful suggestions mentioned, try cleaning the inside of the windshield. If you run your finger down on a spot of your windshield and make a clean spot, you need to clean it.

In hot or hotter climates some of the fumes coming off the plastic settles on the windshield and forms a film. This film increases your chances of the window fogging up. Might be worth a shot.

mine does it too even when its like 100 degrees outside, its just slightly at the bottom though, i'm guessing where the defog vents are. maybe you have some sort of oil on your glass

This is a great suggestion. The dirt particles on the windshield give moisture something easy to cling to and this facilitates the formation of fog.

I don't know what it is about Infinitis but the windows get dirty REAL fast. I clean the front windshield of my G35x and later that day it's already getting dirty again. My mother and some other people I know have M's and they have the same complaint.

if its just happening at the bottom of your windshield and its on the OUTSIDE OF THE GLASS, its because when you run your ac and have recirculate off, 15% of the air still comes out of the defroster vents. When its warmer out then the temp you have your car blowing out, the cold air keeps hitting the windshield and causes condensation. If its in the inside of the glass thats something completly different then.
