I'm still amazed that people like the newer generation Cadillacs "styling". It's as if the designers were only given a ruler and a sharp pencil, "no curves allowed and stay inside the lines". They do seem to be very popular, I guess I'm just not getting it

I did find it interesting they referred to the BMW 5 series as the BMW to be compared w/ the G and the CTS though.

think thats the fastest time i seen an Auto G have? 0-60 in 5.3 and 1/4mi in 13.8 @102 almost 103!! Thats damn good time if it was an accurate time! So my 6MT G should go maybe a 13.7 with a good track! If one ever opens here again!

Good find on the article! I am not surprised at all that the G35S outperforms the CTS given the weight difference. I do think that the CTS is NA's best Sedans though.

regarding the time's, I'm sure they had an experienced driver, not to mention perfect track conditions.

I ran 13.859 1/4 mile last weekend in my 07x. First time I ever ran a timed 1/4 mile, so I wouldn't call myself experienced. Straight auto, vdc off, a/c off, <1/8 tank of gas. Track conditions: dry and low 50's. I didn't take the spare out but I did take the baby seat out.

Slips available when I get a chance to scan them, they're down in my car right now.

Good article, the new CTS's are very nice cars. Can't wait to see what the CTS-V will be pushing out.

"Peruse the performance data, and it's nearly a G35 rout. Handling and braking numbers are closer contests, but the G35 leaps off the line with conviction, with a resultant 5.3-sec. sprint to 60 mph and a 13.8-sec. quarter mile at 102.9 mph that leaves the CTS swirling in its wake."

COOL
