Joker...Small world. My cabin is up above Lake Cle Elum. We hunt deer in this area and elk over by Stampede Pass. In winter we snowmobile from end of Salmon La Sac, down to Cle elum and over to Mineral Springs in the Teanaway. I'm over here now... my wife and I spend about every other weekend over here.

I used to live in deer infested area and I'll share some advice. If you see one deer ahead of you cross the road, stop immediately -- there are often two or three following the first. You miss the first but hit the next one.

I learned this lesson the hard way.

OMG that is hard to look at. I would doubt it was totalled since it was so new but I'm guessing you will wish they had just totalled it before it's all said and done.

ouch. i would guess not totalled b/c the denominator is based on the value of the car, ie, the higher the value, the more likely it will be fixed.

I installed one of these electric deer whistles-

http://www.xp3hornet.com/

I hit 3 deer in a few years some time ago, put one of these on my car and never hit another. They either stand still or run the other way when they hear you coming.

I installed one on my new G couple months ago, works great so far.
