Wiper Blades

For those of you who have not tried the PIAA Super Silicon blades I would give them a shot. I was orginally turned off by the price (about $40 for the pair) but they last twice as long as all the other blades I have used.
My wife was crying the other day for a pair after her 6 month old G started smearing so I am off to order a set.
I run them on my Armada and turned my sister and my buddy onto them as well.
For the money, I have not found a better blade. When you install them make sure you follow the instructions which call for a through cleaning of the windshield, wipe down with the included alcohol/silicone wipes, dry for 10 minutes, wipe clean, then run the blades DRY for 5 minutes.
That last step I forgot when I first installed them and it makes all the difference in the world. The blades transfer a layer of silicone to the windsheild and help repel the rain so the wipers do not have to work as hard and give a silent, squeegee clean wipe every time
It is recommended to run them dry every once and a while to make sure you have a good layer of silicone transferred which is nice because I used to be aprehensive to use wipers to get rid of a mist for fear of damage.

Here's an old trick about rubber wiper blades: Clean them occassionally with a clean paper towel and DeNatured Alcohol. It removes the remanant dirty worn rubber. If the wiper are truly worn or damaged by the environmental chemicals _ Acid Rain, etc, - then they need to be replaced. i replace mine about once a year, depending on the how much they are used in 10-12K..

Can some one explain how replace the blades with new wiper refills. I'm having a hard tie doing it. My OEM blade assembly is cover by a rubber sleeve. I'm not sure if that is the same with all 07 G35X's but it is very hard to get to remove the old refill and install the new one. Any idea guys.
Thanks,
Thanks,
