heated seats do take a little longer than norm, but coming from a non-heat seat car before, i'm still happy.

i avoid the weatherstrip problem by closing the door and not touching the strip. no problems since.

About the weather strip. Most people got the TSB done have no problem since. Wouldn't just make sence to take it to the dealer and get it fixed. That's why the warranty for.

Being on my third G, I have to agree, the Infiniti is nice, warm not hot! Just right IMO!

Also, does anyone else have a problem with the rubber door weatherstrip along the tops of the windows popping out?
Dumb system...

This is your only rant? Man it could be soo much worse, like owning a ____ ( I won't name any brands, fill in the blank on your own).

Infiniti rocks.

My Ford Focus had better heated seats than my G.

^^ But I imagine there must be a ton of other reasons that you have the G and not the Focus anymore?

Here's the thing - the heated seats are NOT consistent from one G to the next. My friend and I each bought a G35X the same day at a dealer.

His seats heat right up and get hot, mine do not ever heat up.

I've had the TSB performed for this and it made no difference. What angers me most is the freakin' dealer says they are "operating normally".

I've owned losts of other leather trimmed cars with heated seats - plain and simple: MY G sux. And the dealer doesn't help

The explanation I was given by the dealership is that the G's seat heaters are underneath the foam pad instead of being directly under the leather. I too wish that the seats would heat up a little more, especially when the temperature dips down to -35C at night in January/February. IMO if this is the only issue I have with my car, I think that's pretty good.

Personally having been through a full winter with my X and starting a second I'm completely satisfied with my seat heaters. I came from a Z that had similar ones and I always felt they never got too hot and heated up in just a few minutes.

I live in a small town in Canada ... its gets pretty cold up here. My problem is that it takes me about 20-25 mins to get to any destination in town. The seats are *just* starting to heat up by the time I get there. My Acura didnt have this problem. But I guess why complain .. I get the same Infiniti responses you get... we know they take a while .. thats just the way it is.

As for the weather stripping ... they tuck it in every oil change. The real question is what happens to all this stuff after warranty? What does this mean to resale?

Mine take at least 10 mins to get somewhat warm. When the temp gets down 0-10 degrees I am expecting it to take even longer. They suck now and its not even that cold at night- 40 degrees. It will probably take 15 mins. at least... and I had the TSB taken care of...supposedly.
