I had to post...today I realized why keyfob covers are good. I was getting my key out of my pocket to open my front door, it was cold and my hands were dry...and the keys slipped right out of my hand right onto cold hard cement. Luckily no damage to the keyfob...but proved why they are beneficial. I still probably won't get one...but I would be pissed if I had a big old scratch across my keyfob right now.
