08 Premium Package. Is it worth the money?
Is the 2008 Premium package worth the money?
That's the question.
I'm buying my 2008 G35x this week and I'm trying to decide.
Heated seats are included with the G35x,
so I think the Bluetooth Connection for your cell phone and
the I-pod connection are the 2 most valuable features of the Premium Package.
But, are they really worth the money ($1,100ish) over the cost of just adding the sunroof?
I'm the only one who will be driving the car,
so the memory seats are no big deal.
The steering wheel is just as adjustable on the base model, power isn't necessary.
At this point, I can't really justify the extra money.
But, I wanted to hear from others about how they made their decision.
Thanks.

I bought the prem pkg for a) SOW, b) memory seats, c) sunroof, and d) bluetooth. The stereo sounds great to me, I use the bluetooth and sunroof daily, and the memory seats are useful a few times a month.
Other things like auto rear windows are nice, dual-climate control is great when my wife is along.
Good luck!

Get it! I never regretted getting the Premium on my G's, once you drive it, then get a loaner that doesn't have it, you realize you made the right decision! I'm not sure how the manual tilt/telescoping wheel on the '07-'08 is, but sure is a nice feature! LOL, when they installed the spoiler on my new G last week, they gave me a used '05 to drive, w/o premium, and that manual wheel sux! (I was hoping they'd just give me my old '05, but it wasn't there!)

How do I option my G35x if I don't want the CD changer in the car?
PS
XM is included on all 2008 Infinitis.
so XM is not part of the Premium Package decision.

If I recall, for 07, the only option to avoid the changer in the trunk is to opt out of navigation! You then get the changer in the dash.
If had to go with no nav, no bluetooth, no sunroof, no SOW, no mmemepry seats....then I would not have bought the car.
I agree with every other post here. The premium package is a good one.
About the trunk ...yes, its very small to begin with, and yes the 6 CD changer (which I dont even use) takes up room. One day, I may get a guy in for a mini mod, to remove it, to reclaim some trunk space. Kinda like paying a premium on the premium, but there is value in terms of less frustration trying to fit in the second piece of luggage! And between the Music Box and the CF cards and the MP3 CD, and the ipod, and whatever will be around when I sell this car, no-one is going to miss the changer!
Good luck with the new car.
