If You Do Not Have Wheel Locks Get Them !

Sick and tired of silly thread of people losing wheels, cmon, as long as you have alloys you NEED wheel locks, no matter what you drive simple as that.. please please please go and spend the money TODAY and get those wheels locks put on. you should NEVER be driving around w/o wheel locks EVER. Ok did I make my point? I live in a city where this is unheard of but I still act as tho its gonna, just in case.

Wheel locks will only get you so far... because 99% of the people have the key in the car. Either in the console, glovebox or somewhere else.

A dedicated crew can get to your car, mess with your door lock or jimmy the pillar, open the door or drop your window, get your key and get your wheels off and be gone inside of 5 minutes.

Just saying though.

I think most dealers are putting them on as a courtesy. They don't come with them on from the factory.

Any thief who really wants your wheels can get it. You can only slow him down in the process with wheels locks.

Have you ever heard of gator grip???
Thats all he needs and there goes your wheels. Just saying though

I keep my key in my car, but luck tried to find them. It takes me 15 mins just to get to them.

Good idea although it wont work when a wheel lock is completely smooth on the outside and the actual "key" part is inside the bolt, therefore, nothing to grip on the outside. On that note, I agree if a thief really wants your rims, he/she will get them, as posted earlier, "it'll just slow them down." However the more things you have in place to slow down the thief, the more they will think twice and rather move to the next car that may have less of an anti theft.

Locks are only going to give you a sense of false security. Just like car alarms, it's not going to stop them from taking your wheels, it's only going to slow them down, if at that.

BTW, this>any wheel lock.

Use locks on every bolt... that'll slow them down quite a bit?
