Can Anyone help Define Ecu. vs. Ecm.?????

I took my 07g35s in for the ecu reflash and icc. issue but the paperwork says it was the ecm bulletin done??? What is ecm? vs. ecu?

ECU= Engine Control Unit.
ECM= Engine Control Module.

Different manufacturers call them different things though they are generally talking about the same part.

Yes - ECU is the computer that controls the engine, timing, fuel etc. ECM is the computer that controls the engine, timing, fuel etc.

They're the same thing, as noted.
