I know! I saw this also. When I bought mine. The dealer said it is a mistake and is only offered on the coupe. That sucks. It would've looked great.

 

Well, I still see the option as available on the Infiniti website, but I haven't seen any on the actual cars... yet.

Does anyone have this on their newer 08 models????

I got an 08 sedan and yup I tried to order this for my sedan too but the dealer said they were only avaliable for coupes. sorry

 

haha dammit i was curious about this when i bought my car and didn't think much of it. I went in to test drive a coupe with a friend for fun and saw the illum kickplates and now i'm part of the club lol. bought my sedan in may, no sign of illum kickplates for the sedan. 09s are coming in oct/november at my local dealer they said.

 

They're still listed as an option for the sedan on the Infiniti website.
I contacted Infiniti a few days ago and asked.
They haven't responded yet.

 

i called infiniti about this 2 weeks ago and im like your site says you have illuminated kick plates for the 2007+ sedans and he was even confused about it
he said it comes with the g37 as an option.
i guess whoever is in charge of making the site made a mistake
a really bad 1 cuz theres a lot of angry people who got mistaken that our cars could have illuminated kick plates

Looks like we may just have to make our own. I have a friend who did my interior under dash and under seat lights and we were talking about making our own lights. Should be pretty simple to do, just didnt have the time. Going to go and visit him and see if its doable.

 

I found a website years ago that made these. You would ship them your plates and they came back wired for light. A few TL owners I knew did it. Cost was under $500-.
I'll poke around and see if I can find the info again.

 

picked up my new o8 ip sedan last fri in tampa fl with illuminated lick plates already installed. they had several sedans with the kick plates at this dealership. these do exist for 07-08 sedans.

I saw a silver '08 sedan when I picked up my G35S that had the illuminated kick plates. They looked AMAZING! I really would've liked it on my sport..

I did notice on the window sticker that it is a seperate accessory with an MSRP of $355. Not sure what part # it would be. I was hoping to find somewhere on this website that I could pick them up and add them, haha
