I just got mine from InfinitiPartsUSA.com
http://www.g35parts.com/9083/osc/pro...9829cc3213db9c
They are on sale right now.
The US Infiniti plates don't look nearly as cool as the Skyline ones that others have posted but they are high quality and plug right into the BCM box on the passenger side. You do have to run the wires across the firewall from the driver side so it will probably take at least an hour. They pretty much give you everything you need including zip ties and foam padding to protect the wire from sharp edges and to eliminate vibration noise.

they light up when the doors are open regardless if the headlights are on or off.

I checked and they turn off with the interior map/courtesy lights when the doors are closed

ok seriously how hard is this to install? it seems like its going to be an easy installation, but i know that once i get them in my hands and go to my car to install them, i'm going to run into like 20 problems. is it easy to get the existing kickplates off the car? and will all of the wires be completely hidden under the carpeting of the car? i really want to order these but i know i'm going to feel uncomfortable popping panels off of my car and ripping kickplates off of my car to install new ones and running wires under the carpet and stuff..

hey Markk132, i would consider myself a noob/novice when it comes to customizing cars... for most people this mod takes then less than an hour. for me, it took about 2 hours because I wanted to go slow and I don't have much experience popping off panels either. The instructions that were included are comprehensive and walk you through every step so you don't have to guess. I understand your hesitation and I felt the same way. But after gettiing them and successfully installing them, I felt great and it looked great. I don't think you have anything to worry about.

Yeah, the install isn't too bad. Just make sure you start the install early enough to insure you have enough light. I installed mine in the dark which just made the install more difficult.
Took about an hour. I then installed my friend's at work in about 45 minutes.

Anyone in the MA area, I'm happy to help.
Don't get hosed at the dealer.... This is not a difficult install.
