I bought the neons (2) at my local auto parts store for about $40 total. They had some other funky colors, I like the bright white, looks the best IMO. It was a piece of cake to splice into the kickplate harness. The neons in the footwells fade out just like the rest of the interior lights.

 

would those fit on a coupe????

 

The Coupe's kick plates are longer, but I believe illuminated plates are available, yes

 

I just got some used illuminated kickplates! But I am lost! I think I am missing a wire!! This is all I got! I have an 08

 

I thought our cars were pre wired for this?

 

That's what I thought too!! But I can't find the fricking cable to plug it!

 

I hope when i order mine, it will be there or else i am going to have to Jerry rig it.

 

The kit includes an extra cable!! But since I got it used I didn't get it. But since it was an 08, I thought it was Pre-wire already.

 

The next Riverside show, i am ordering mine and then i'll post pix on here.

 

I am gonna just put them on like that for right now!! Better than stocks but I want the illumination!

 

The drivers side has a long cable and the passenger side is short. Theyre long enough to reach the passenger side foot well where they plug in

I've done installs on two 07s and one 08
The install is the same

 

So, the 08 does need the big cable! ! Damn!! I am gonna call Rick and see if he sells it reparately!
