Just cover the sensor

Just cover the sensor on the dash and the lights will come on whenever the car is on. It now thinks that it is dark outside.

A dash mat or just some black tape should do it.
Estimated expense?
Dash Mat $35 US
Black tape, 5 Cents

My 04 never had them.

I dont like them, and they never use hids always halogens. More crap to maintain and they cheapen the appearance IMO. When I see them, especially halogens, I think Saturn and Pontiac Sunfire.

Fog lights are used when the high beams are on.

KP Technologies offers a fog light module that allows them to be operated independently.

It makes utterly no sense that fog lights would be on with high beams...

This is why I hate DRL. People forget to turn on their lights at night, because the headlights are on, but the tail lights are not illuminated, which I see as a bigger problem. If people can't think enough to turn on their lights in bad weather or at night, they should take driving school or have someone slap them up side the head.

I don't see how people can "forget" to turn on their headlights simply because they are running DRLs. The foglights on the G don't give off nearly enough light to drive with them alone. That goes with any other car's DRLs that I have owned. The fact still remains that DRLs are a great safety feature, which is why they are required on vehicles in numerous other countries.

like i posted in my other thread i do not have DRLs at the moment but am looking to get them done, if I can manage to find a place or way to get them done well.

the key here is not only do the fogs have to come on when the ignition comes on but I assume if u set your light switch to auto they can be turned off......I think thats how the canadian cars are wired?

I do not see simple module being able to do that. independent fogs, maybe but automatic drls, like the stock ones.... doubtful. the real drls would come on only when its daytime and your normal lights come on when it is dark....
