I do agree with you there. My TL-S was smoother, but slower. I'll take the torque over smooth ride anyday of the week.Originally Posted by disgookonfiya

My only small bit of remorse is that I should have gone the extra mile for Nav. Other than that I love the car despite the issues I've had with it. I'd be shocked if my next car (whenever that is) wasn't another G.

The rear seats don't recline in 2nd gen Sedan like they do in the 1st gen Sedan. Originally Posted by 2A656

not that many cars are built with the gas tank on the right side. thats a good thing because u dont have to wait on a long line.

I think the OP was taking a swipe at the not-so-great gas mileage when he said "he has to look the other way at the pump"Originally Posted by whtbst

I don't think it was a literal reference to where the gas cap was located.
Anyways that's what I think

Yes! I was thrilled to find that out. Saves me 10 minutes of idling at the Costco gas station! Hey, how much of a fuel savings is that?! Who says they aren't fuel efficient?Originally Posted by giorgios

I think I'm with everyone else here: no remorse at all, but do get peeved sometimes about the gas mileage. Usually I'll pull into the pump a little frustrated, but as soon as I turn around and look at the G35 sitting there at the station, I remember that this thing kicks *** and I love it. I didn't buy this car to go skiing or to haul a bunch of stuff around - I bought it to drive fast and look good!

Love the car but the mileage is annoying, primarily because my 17yr old M30 got much better mileage, and I WOT'd it all the time, much more than I do with the G. 17yr old VG30 vs. new VQ35HR I thought the new one would be better. I avg 16 in the G, almost 20 in the old M doing the same type of driving.
But no remorse. Love the car and would definitely buy it again over anything else.

I have had the 07 G35-S 6mt sedan for one year now and I still grin every time I get on it.
That being said, even though not in the same league, I would gladly dump the G for the new M3 sedan in a heartbeat. Not willing to pay the price (I could afford the car, but I want to stay married to my wife.

I would like a few more inches in the rear seats for the kids, but other than that I have no complaints at all and certainly no regrets.

i regret misquoting my salary when filling out the loan forms, which cost me the bi-weekly payments, so i ended up paying a fair bit more than i anticipated.
sometimes i think i should have gotten a cheaper car, but i can't think of anything that really compares, as far as used cars go.
