AT not shifting to 3rd?
Anyone else having this problem? Every once in a while (like once every two weeks), my G won't shift from 2nd to 3rd. Pull the paddle like normal, but it's still in 2nd - no shift.
First time it happened, I figured I just didn't pull far enough. But since then it's happened four or five more times, and twice today
I know it's not driver error now, because I've since tested the shifter and the tranny will shift if you even get the paddle 2/3 of the way back. Can't pinpoint any specific behavior, because I never know when it's going to happen. So far has only been at low to medium revs (thankfully).
I'd figure it's just a weird electronics anomaly, but if if starts happening more often...?

If its only doing it at low revs, sounds like line pressure may be weak at that shift point. Might want to check your transmission fluid. Ive seen some cars, in general, come low from the factory. If the fluid is fine then ide take it to the dealership.
I assume you are in DS mode since you are up-shifting. By any chance were you doing some acceleration "testing" or practicing 1/4 mile launches?
It may be possible the ECU is doing something based on your driving habits. I'm pretty sure it happens in D mode because I've noticed my car will shift significantly higher (5K-6K range) after some "spirited" accelerations.

Any other ideas?
