Fog lights are kind of worthless.
I love this car. My 2008 XS is improved in every way over my 2005. In fact the headlamps are so much better that the fog lights are absolutely worthless. There is a slight change in light when I select the fogs.
i felt the same way about them. plus i hated the dull white halogen look, next to the nice projector.
but i just upgraded my fogs to 3000k hid plug and play kit. They look great and their performance is literally 5 times better. there is so much good quality lighting 5-50ft in front of the car now, its amazing.
oh and reflection off of road markers and signs is awesome too.

Where did you get the kit from and who makes it. I would love to get some fog lights that I can actually see the difference with.

They look retarded when on and don't do anything. I prefer the look with just the headlights on. I have no desire to change the fogs out to match since it still looks better with just the single HID projector.
Looking at the front of the Sport model I think that it would make sense to have aftermarket fogs in the cutouts on either side of the lower bumper. Sort of the traditional foglight location as I remember it.
Not a big fan of having fogs in the same location as the headlights as fogs should provide light on a lower level in order to avoid lighting up the actual fog in front of the car (isn't that the point of fog lights?).

i too leave the fogs off because of the way they look.
definitely interested in upgrading them...what is the best way to do this?

Don't be silly with the Plug and Play so called "HID" kits. The reason why they seem to be brighter because it's no difference than having a high-beam on. Now if someone is behind you with their "HID" kits, it's literally having high beam on behind you.

I don't think the foglight housing is a projector type housing so H.I.D's would probably scatter a lot of light and blind people. That's not going to stop me from converting it to H.I.D.s but i'll make sure to keep the fogs off when there is oncoming traffic or somebody in front of me.
