Seats don't heat up? Read inside...

OK, I know there has been a lot of discussion on the heated seats for the G35regarding whether they work or not, so if you are interested read on:

I've had my car back to the Infiniti dealer 4 times to get the heated seats to work right. During the last visit (the fourth), I was pretty mad and basically said: "Don't return the car to me until those seats heat up - don't tell me they're operating as designed".

Well, they took the seats apart and discovered that there is an installation flaw where the wires are getting crossed...they fixed it and VOILA! I have heated seats. In fact, the rep told me they were going to try and update the national TSA on this issue to detail the fix. This was about 3 weeks ago.

So, if you want your seats heated and your dealer gives you the usual rubbish, have them call Infiniti of Denver. My seats work perfect now!

so pretty much everything from the prem. package gives you problems, sounds enticing.

Oh wow, I'll wait for the TSB to see that.

Too bad it's almost spring time again...

I thought there was already a TSB on the seat heaters.

This is very old news - there's a TSB where they change the wiring harnesses for the seats, I had mine done about six months ago.

Who thinks the premium package gives you problems, I don't have any??

Infiniti of Denver fixed mine when the TSB came out. They heat up but not great. I just got an '08 Nissan Armada, and the heated seats are phenomenal! They put our seats to shame (not to mention the heated steering wheel)

LOL! It's a 2 second fix to put the finisher back. Mine fell off once about 11 months ago and it's been fine since. I have no idea if this is your way of justifying not getting the premium package, but I can assure you that your statement "so pretty much everything from the prem. package gives you problems" couldn't be farther from the truth. Quite an ignorant statement really.

Ditto on the finisher. Had it fall on me once. TSB applied and it's been fine since. (knock on wood).

so are you saying you didn't spend any of your valuable time fixing this problem? or in 3 seconds it magically fixed itself. stuff falling on your head, heated seats not working right, i guess it's just that far from the truth huh? so ignorant, gosh
