recall: headlight/taillight for 07

not sure about the 08, i didnt ask.
i just called the dealership to get a few itb done and she brought up that my headlight and taillight is under recall.
my headlight are modifiy so im not getting that done. not sure what is actually done to it.
for the taillight she said due to the angle of the led they must fix it or replace the whole housing.
just wondering if anyone heard of this?

My passenger headlight has a 1/2 long hairline crack. I think I'll check into this.

my appointment is next week tuesday so im not too sure whats gonna be done yet. i was hoping somebody on this forum knows a little more.
as far as i know if your headlight is modded i dont think its cover under the recall. i told the lady i spoke to and she said if your headlights are modify then its not cover. not too sure about overlays on taillight though, might want to give them a call.

Someone on the west coat call Infiniti Consumer Affairs and find out. I tried to call but they were already closed because it's 5 after 5 in my local time zone.

On the phone with ICA right now... My VIN isn't affected, but there is a recall for certain VINS. Trying to get the ITB now.

The ITB# is: ITB07-011.

The ITB is VIN specific, but I didn't get the range that was affected. The problem is that lights within that range "may" fail to comply with the Federal Motor Vehicle Safety rule #108 which has to do with verticle gradients and the minimum or maximum brightness at certain angles.

ITB07-011 is for the 06 and 07 coupes (i.e. previous generation coupe). Since we're in the '07+ sedan forums I imagine it shouldn't apply

That's the ITB that the guy at ICA gave me for the issue. Call 'em yourself it's a free call.
