Has anyone had rattles when driving?

I did have rattling noise coming from seatbelt height-adjuster on the passenger side. Reluctantly (after they tried the "oh, they all do that" bull****) the dealer changed the unit and fixed the problem.
The noise was actually difficult to identify, at first...just a vague passenger side rattle on certain road surfaces.
You can check by gently tapping the release on the top of the unit. If the springs underneath lack tension, this will cause the rattle.
Hope this helps someone

My 07x has a fast tapping noise coming from the dash or center console area. Can't tell exactly where though. The tapping comes and goes. I'll hear it for a day or two and then it dissappears for a week. Strange. The noise is reminiscent of the sound of the Hard Disk Drive spinning up in a PC during boot up...only louder. Kind of a random clicking.

I've had my '07 for almost a year and almost 21000 miles with one rattle that I thought was coming from the dash somewhere and couldn't locate it. I was about to take it in to the dealer because I had checked everything until I looked in the overhead sunglass holder and found an old pair of sunglasses I forgot I had put there. I took them out and no more rattle. You will be amazed at how sound can travel inside a car. That's why even dealers have hard times locating them. They had my daughter's '07 G35 Sport in the shop for 2 month's on the third time to find a noise that only happened when it was cold and the car was under exceleration. Finally an engineer from infinti came out after they had torn out the dash and most of the interior and he found something loose in a part of the heater I think. They were kind of vague on the fix. It is fixed though, and they seem to have done agood job putting it back together. she was ready to ask for a new car replacement, and they were considering it.
