No, they are two separate charges. Every car sold in the US has a destination fee that pays for its transport to the dealer. You have to pay it and the dealer pays the same price you do, so there is no invoice price on the destination fee.

You'll learn a great deal at carbuyingtips.com and i especially recommend their car buying spreadsheet that you can fax to multiple general managers with your firm OUT THE DOOR price.

Doesn't make it right.
You have your **** hanging out in an insurance settlement because title holder (Infiniti) has 1st claim.

I'll bet those 50% aren't aware of that.

Isn't the "destination charge" and "dealer fee" are the same thing?

By the way, I hope you still remember me. I am still in the market. I will see you some day.
Destination is set by the manufacturer, and EVERYONE pays it. It's what they charge to transport the car to the dealership. $715 is a steal considering G's come from japan, and are trucked to the dealership.

Dealer fee is something that some dealers charge. They will also charge documentation on TOP of that.

Documentation is to cover all of the fee's that are incurred and to pay the employees in the back office that process all of the paperwork. We charge $55 for this on a purchase, and $45 on a lease, and you'll find that nobody will beat us on that.

We DO NOT CHARGE a "dealer fee". thats just total BS.

I drove by Tustin Infiniti last week and saw like AT LEAST 30 maybe 40 G35 sedans! They had some many they many units were parked on neighbor dealer's lot. I was pretty tripped out...
