While driving, I use the voice commands all the time. Its also nice to use it to change stations on XM radio instead of turning the **** to get to a random channel. I know you have presets but you only have so many presets.

I live in Minnesota.
I don't need AWD and prefer RWD. So I got a '07 G35S with premium/nav/tech packages.

I prefer the sound of the premium stereo over the base stereo. In that alone, the premium package was worth it, in order to get nav you have to have premium though i think so that's a moot point).

RWD is fine in the snow if you're not an idiot, but the 18" summer tires are not. In New England you will probably want snow tires (I have my snow tires on cheap 17" rims).

Any RWD vehicle can be deadly in the snow with summer tires. I didn't try a 4WS system but given what I've seen of it, I'm not sure I can be convinced it's worth the money.

FYI, the article regarding the G35X being faster than RWD G35 in auto-X racing is with the first gen G35. I wouldn't be surprised given that the vehicle driving dynamics of a 2nd gen is pretty close to a 1st gen that it still applies to the 2nd gen, but it's not been demonstrated yet.

That said, if I were to ever get an AWD vehicle, the Attessa-es (or ets or whatever) in the G35 is an absolutely beautiful piece of engineering.
