US cars don't and since it is law in Canada, Canadian cars do.

You did not say where you are located.

You can always just turn on your lights manually... but there are no DRLs on US cars.

i think there is enough interest for something to be made, if itisnt already, where we can use our fogs as DRL's. aka, have them on by themselves when we feel like it.

I believe there is a thread somewhere on the site about converting to DRL since guys have to do it when they purchase a US car and bring it to Canada. All cars purchased in the US from Canada must have this conversion.

Drl

I am in the US, they should just have the DRLs, but the 306hp makes up for such a petty concern. Just came from a 250 mile trip. The car is awesome, couldnt speed since was with wife and in laws and baby and am still in the break in period.

Id take a look at your fuse box layout in your owners manual, sometimes its noted but missing, sometimes just a blank. Commonly, the only difference is a missing fuse/relay in the american versions. This is true for countless vehicles that are sold in both USA and Canada. Most of the time its a kinda beefy relay in the fuse box under the hood.

i doubt theres one... if there is.. i think someone would have pointed that out by now...or maybe no one looked.. lol who knows...but the current only solution is to wire up a DRL module to the fogs or do the independent fog module or via a relay.

for reference, my fogs are always on...

in my honda, my high beams are always on (at a very low brightness... similar to how it is on my G coupe)

The US 08 G35x does not have DRL. Imported one from the US and had the Canadian dealer install an aftermarket unit that turns the fog lights when the stalk is in the Off position.

I know that he either used the module or relay (relay in the new G is probably tricky at best)

I want to know from him what he used ..... so I'd rather wait for his response - thanks for trying though.
