On Screen Signal and Battery Meter
On Screen Signal and Battery Meter
Hey everyone,
What makes the battery and signal meter to show up on the top right corner of the screen once a bluetooth phone is connected? Mine only shows the signal icon but not the signal strength (bars) and battery meter?
I tried to change the settings in my phone, such as enable/disable encryption, discoverable/non-discoverable. Any ideas?

Anyone feel free to correct me if i'm wrong but I believe the battery indicator only shows on the screen once the phone is in use. Otherwise, you will only see the signal indicator on the top right.
Incorrect.
Bluetooth 1.x and 2.0 have different specifications.
The car is capable of connecting with BOTH. Your phone's capabilities will determine the car's capabilities.
With the right phone, you can even transfer your phonebook to the car and use the phone voice recognition...

i had the same issue with my 8525 from ATT but someone on this board suggested that i upgrade the OS on it to windows mobile 6 and now it works fine. You might just need to update your phone.
