Okay, so here's the scenerio.
I get in my 08G, push the start button and the motor turns on without any issues. Everything looks normal until I look at the front speedometer info area.
4 different info lights beam on "Slip, brake, VDC, and some other one I can't think of at the moment. The issue is the lights are constantly on even after checking all the buttons and brake release. I know this has gotta be an electronic issue.
The speedometer doesn't work, the signals inside the car doesn't work, the temp gauge doesn't work, the gas meter doesn't work,...I could still drive the car fine,...oH, and the tip-tronic shifter doesn't work either.
Another issue was that I tried turning the car off while the motor was on, and it wouldn't turn off!! I finally figured out how to do it, just kept finger on the button for about 3 seconds and it finally turned off.
I guess the only thing I can do is take it in to Infiniti tomorrow. I'm just curious to know if this has happened to anyone out there.
I only have 3500 miles on my car, is there any sort of recall that i don't know about?

hey hans,
dont worry you are not alone on this one, yes this is a KNOWN issue there is no recall but there is a TSB(technical service bulletin) ITB07-027. just take it to the dealer ASAP and they should fix it for you in no time, be careful though as i doubt that all the saftey functions would be working properly.
GoodLuck
P.S. you can download the buulletin here if you need to show it to your dealer...

i know what it is! this exact thing happened to me, and the next day my car wouldnt even start! it was in protect mode and i couldnt drive over 1.5rpms in any gear.
there is a connector on the back of the radio that controls all the functions you mentioned to be displayed on the dashboard, and if it's not connected properly all this errors will occur. if you took your radio out or anything, take it out again and make sure everything is hooked up properly, if you didnt, take it in
