I hope the 275's will be a little stretched...how about the front 245s with 19x9s<no stretch..maybe a little?

I got 19" Advan RS in bright chrome

 

I was highly considering the bright chromes, but wanted to go semi conservative with the color yet aggressive with the offset and dimensions of the wheels...+ save a little money

So what are your wheel specs?
offsets...size...etc.

I have a coupe so my offests are different than yours.

Front 19"x9" with a 22 offset and 275/30 PS2's
Rear 19"x10" with a 25 offset and 295/30 PS2's

 

I know the stance will be some what different due to comparing my car to these other cars and of course suspension height.

That's not an aggressive setup at all for a coupe. Aggressive would be ZERO offsets on a 19x9/19x10 setup, but they dont make those in these wheels. And since he's getting wider tires he needs the high offset to clear the fender.


To asnwer your question, the 245/275 tire setup you're going with will have a very minor stretch, but nothing drastic. Your wheel widths are still within manufacturer specs of the tires.

Sorry my friend .. it will go together, but I can't tell from the posts if this is the look you want.

You mentioned in another post that you were going w/Eibach Pros which is what I have on my car. I have 10" with +48 offset and 285 tires and everything is perfectly flush w/no rubbing. I also have a camber kit in the rear and my alignment is nominal at -.83. So really, the difference between your setup and mine is the offset and tire width.

Finally, according to the factory service manual, the camber spec (in deg) for an S or journey is -1.33 min / -.83 nominal / -.33 max. Technically, -1.5 deg is out of spec. but you may need the slight camber to avoid rubbing.

It seems like it will be very close and will come down to camber and tire selection.

 

Hopefully after America's tires puts them on the car, i wont have any issues driving on them for a week, until i take them into Firestone to have them properly aligned to my desired specs

-1.5 front
and -2 in the rear
its a shame i cant see what it'll look like before they align my wheels. You just have to tell them what you want and you see the outcome ounce its been completed? Is this how it works?

 

They will try for nominal unless you tell them otherwise.

Not many people actually know what the mfr alignment specs are for their car.

 

You should be able to get away with -1.5 in the rear Hans, which is slightly out of spec, but still, not bad when you think about the fact that your camber will be over -2 once you get the springs on.

Terry, every degree of camber is about 10mm in clearance. So with your 10" +48 and 285 tire at -0.8 camber, you could get away with a +38 with -1.8 camber and still not rub. That's 3mm more clearance than Hans' setup but he's also using a 275 tire which will give him 5mm less tire width on the outside so essentially he could run a +33 and still not rub with -1.8 camber. So with -1.5 he should be perfect with the +35 offset

Yes, try for -1.5 first, i'm almost positive it wont rub. With the front, you cant adjust camber without a kit and i dont recall seeing a kit out for the 2nd gen sedans yet, so you're stuck with whatever camber you have with the Eibach drop.
