Mysterious Pin after changing back to Summer Rims/Tires

Changed back to my summer rims/tires recently, and found this pin on the ground. Is this just a hair pin or is this an important pin? I think it came from the front wheels. Please advise. Thanks.

EDIT: took the picture with a small post-it note for size illustration.

Isn't that what you use to keep your hair out of your eyes?

Seriously, could it be a cotter pin for the wheel hub?

Cotter pin wouldnt have that many humps in it. It would be shorter and thicker without maybe one or two humps.

OMG, I just peed myself. That is definitely a bobby pin that girls use in their hair.
Google "bobby pin" it will tell you about it.

Either that or it might have been a cotter pin in a '73 Datsun pickup!

now that i think about it that may be the pin that holds the body of the car to the chassis. might want to get it towed to the dealer.

Yes, that is a very important pin. That pin holds the sideskirts to the body of the car. Its one per sideskirt. Go put it back before your sideskirt falls off on the highway!
