Is this normal for the Dealershio to say they need to take your car home with them to make sure everything is ok with it?
Thats what they did at my dealership, he said it needed it over night, and I was like ok (thinking he meant at the dealership), then he mentioned something about how he has a garage at home so it will be garaged so not to worry and walks off. I was really confused be he took it home changed all my settings in my car and for some reason my seat programs were reset too, he drove it over 50 miles and when I got it back the thing said I has less than 10 miles to go, so I couldn't even get home safely without filling up.

And you just let him....?
Why would you agree to his taking your car home with him? You brought the
car in for service, after the service was completed you should be the one to
decide if it was in working order....the upside....you had a loaner and didn't
fill it with gas....I hope! Seriously, I've never heard of this situation before!

i knew i got owned! i've never filled up the loaners with gas but this time i did thinking he would have filled mine up with gas but nope.
it was at sewell infiniti in dallas. i was leaving town a couple of days after my car was ready, i think he did it for that purpose, but i still thought it was weird he wanted to take my car home.
i love the dealership and have never had a problem with them until now. it wasn't him taking it home that was the bad thing, it was him leaving me with no gas to get home

Did you ask why he needed to take your car home? why did he insist on taking your ride home with him instead of performing the maintenance work at the stealership?
why would you not think him taking your car home was a bad thing? he could have taken your parts off and put sh!tty ones back on (probably didnt but still a scenario)...used your car to bang his gf (probably did that) and all sorts of things...you need to file a complaint about this...
